Steamtown Locomotive 1293

Locomotive 1293, a Pacific type 4-6-2 steam locomotive, at the depot in Chester, Vermont in 1978. The tender connected to this locomotive has a coal capacity of 14 tons and it holds up to 8,000 Imperial gallons of water. The locomotive is attached to the rear of the coaches for the trip back to Steamtown.
