Union Pacific 737

  UP 737 4-4-0 locomotive  
This 4-4-0 "American" type locomotive was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1887. Before it was retired it had been in service on the Union Pacific and Southern Pacific railroads. It was also owned and operated by the Erath Sugar Company and the Vermilion Sugar Company. F. Nelson Blount bought the engine for Steamtown in 1957 shortly after it was retired from working at a sugar plantation.
