Bucyrus Crane at Steamtown in 1978

Bucyrus crane car. The most recent identifying mark on this car is CNJW 5. Built in 1918 by Bucyrus-Erie for the Central Railroad Company of New Jersey it has a 150 ton lifting capacity. The crane became part of the Steamtown Foundation in Bellows Falls, VT in 1976. The tattered crane was on static display when this photograph wa taken in 1978.
