Illinois Central Railroad 790

ICRR 790, 2-8-0 Consolidation, was built by ALCO in 1903. F. Nelson Blount purchased the locomotive in January 1966. The Steamtown Foundation acquired the locomotive from Mr. Blount's estate in August 1967. This steam locomotive along with all the other Steamtown USA equipment was moved from Bellows Falls, Vermont to Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1984 .
