ALCO diesel locomotive postcards

Postcards of American Locomotive diesel locomotives. Diesel railroad engines built by ALCO, the American Locomotive Company. A variety of different models were produced for freight and passenger train operations. The different models include RS, RSD, FA, PA, and the C series. One characteristic of ALCO diesel locomotives was beautiful plumage of thick black smoke coming from the exhaust stack.
